All of the paintings in the Corridors series are oil on gessoed paper. Many of them feature inner vertical rows of further segmented paintings and narrow strips of color, such as this one If the Sun Could Unravel, 11.3 x 15 inches.

Although the strips of paintings are hard-edged and crisp, the paintings within each compartment are soft and atmospheric, with transparent areas of paint, as well as thick impasto passages.
